The fruitful work carried out by the Fondazione Pubblicità Progresso marks 40 years of activity, dedicated conscientiously to developing the sense of individual dignity, the respect for citizens’ duties and rights. This work, reflecting the highest levels of creativity and driven by the efforts of the most renowned creative talents and testimonials, has yielded valuable results. Over time, Pubblicità Progresso has become synonymous with social advertising in the daily vocabulary of Italians.
To celebrate its role in Italian society, the Fondazione Pubblicità Progresso created the exhibition Per Sempre Presente, showcasing campaigns from its beginnings to the present day.
The slogans, images, and claims that have accompanied Italian society and culture for four decades serve as a true reflection of societal changes, fears, aspirations, and ideals. The exhibition offers an overview of all the activities of Pubblicità Progresso, capturing its philosophy and techniques.
The exhibition is arranged chronologically, divided into four decades, each introduced by a photographic panel that presents the commercials created during those years, while also recalling the key social, cultural, and political events that defined each decade. For each of the four decades, a campaign that sparked the most discussion and left a significant mark on that period has been highlighted with a quote or anecdote shown in a speech bubble.
