Ciak si [guid]a, the international road safety film festival organized by the Local Police of Milan, returns this year for its 8th edition. The competition, sponsored by Pubblicità Progresso among others, is part of the “Insieme” project under the National Road Safety Plan of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Lombardy Region.
The ongoing goal is to raise awareness among children and young people about how to behave safely on the road, understand the importance of following rules, the value of life, educate on safe driving, and develop a greater ability to perceive “risks.”
In view of EXPO 2015, the theme proposed to all Italian and European schools is: FREE MOVIN’ – Young people on the move to feed the planet with ideas and responsible actions.
To participate, students are asked to create a road safety video or comic strip using multimedia technologies to express creative, communicative, and technical skills.
A specialized jury will evaluate the projects submitted and select the winners. As every year, the Premio Speciale Pubblicità Progresso will be awarded. The event will take place on March 27, 2015, in a Milan theater, where the winning projects will be showcased in a themed theatrical performance.
