Torna Ciak si [guid]a, international film festival on road safety, organized by the Local Police of Milan, returns for its 8th edition. The competition, sponsored by Pubblicità Progresso among others, is part of the Insieme” roject under the National Road Safety Plan of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Lombardy Region.
The long-standing goal of the festival is to raise awareness among children and teenagers about how to behave safely on the road, understand the importance of following rules, the value of life, promote safe driving, and develop a greater ability to perceive “risks.”
In view of EXPO 2015, the theme proposed to all Italian and European schools is: FREE MOVIN’ – Young people in motion to feed the planet with ideas and responsible actions.
To participate, students must create a short film or comic on road safety using multimedia technologies that showcase their creative, communicative, and technical skills. A specialized jury will evaluate the submitted projects and announce the winners. As in previous years, the Pubblicità Progresso Special Prize will be awarded. The event will take place on March 27, 2015, in a Milan theater, where a themed play will be performed, and the winners’ works will be screened.
