The Environmental Conflict Mediation Project aims to explore and develop alternative, creative, and non-contentious methods to resolve environmental conflicts.
Real-world testing: The project applied mediation procedures to actual, ongoing environmental disputes.
Lead Organization: The Milan Arbitration Chamber (CAM) heads the project and oversees the trials. Attorney Veronica Dini designed and coordinated the initiative.
December 2015: Initiation of a multidisciplinary, multi-stakeholder dialogue on environmental conflicts and resolution tools.
Development and Testing: Operational models were created and tested at CAM.
