From September 11 to 14, Bergamo will host the first FOOD FILM FEST, an international competition for cinema and food.

The event, promoted by the Associazione Montagna Italia and the Camera di Commercio di Bergamo, with the artistic direction of the Associazione Festival Internazionale del Cinema, is designed to promote a culture of conscious eating. The festival will feature films, short films, documentaries, and animations focused on taste, culinary arts, nutrition, food production, biodiversity, and gastronomic memory as a collective heritage to preserve.

There will also be opportunities for reflection on the food world. In collaboration with the University of Bergamo, several events will be offered to the public with free entry, dedicated to publishing, advertising, and the world of gastronomic criticism.

On Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 PM, at the Auditorium del Gusto, Alberto Contri, President of Pubblicità Progresso, will introduce the session titled “Le campagne sociali di pubblicità progresso su alimentazione, prevenzione e salute” (Social Advertising Campaigns on Nutrition, Prevention, and Health).
