On the occasion of the presentation of the HeForShe campaign, promoted by the United Nations in favor of gender equality, held in the Sala Zuccari of the Senate and promoted by Simone Ovart, president of the UN Women Italy committee, Alberto Contri gave an overview of the two-year campaign “Punto su di te” (I Bet on You), organized by Pubblicità Progresso, in the presence of Senate President Pietro Grasso and Vice President Valeria Fedeli.
“In these two years, the entire Pubblicità Progresso system has made a great effort to carry out a very detailed campaign, conceived by Young&Rubicam and produced by Bedeschi Film. On one side, it was important to show that women are still discriminated against and that, when it comes to equal work, they face a pay gap ranging from 7 to 30%. The commercials lead to the website puntosudite.it, which offers suggestions, assistance, and concrete support to help women get the position they deserve in society. We are happy to give space to the HeForShe campaign promoted by UN Women because we believe it is very important that it is finally men who stand up for true gender equality.”
