Social World Film Festival

Inizio: Friday 7 June 2013

Fine: Saturday 8 June 2013

VICO EQUENSE – The Social World Film Festival is more than just a film showcase; it stands as a moment of cultural and social gathering, a platform for advocacy and reflection. It highlights social cinema as a medium for international communication and dialogue, serving as a critical space for development and promotion. The festival’s socially-focused nature is evident in its growing audience, particularly for short films, documentaries, and feature films with social themes, many of which are low-budget and/or independent productions.

Given the festival’s strong social orientation and the works in competition, the Pubblicità Progresso Foundation has granted its patronage to the second edition and will participate directly in the event.

The Social World Film Festival aims to be the first and only festival dedicated to social cinema in its broadest interpretations. It acts as a powerful cultural and tourist attraction, integrating various activities into a comprehensive yet accessible program that enhances the historical, natural, architectural, and scenic resources of the area. Prominent figures from national and international cinema will attend, engaging with young participants in lively discussions, offering valuable advice, and receiving the honorary title of “Ambassadors of Youth.”
