MILAN – For four years, the Fondazione Pubblicità Progresso has been promoting the International Conference on Social Communication, a platform for dialogue on specific topics between businesses, Non-Profit Organizations, Public Administrations, young people, and educators. In 2009, the European Year of Creativity and Innovation, the Fifth International Conference on Social Communication altered its format, evolving into a comprehensive event filled with various activities.
On October 27, 2009, at the Aula Magna of the University of Milan, the concluding event will take place. The President of the Foundation, Alberto Contri, will coordinate the interventions of some of the leading communication experts: Flavio Mombelli, Giampaolo Fabris, Edward De Bono, and others who will discuss the theme of responsible creativity.
In the afternoon, a screening of the best international social commercials from the Cannes Advertising Festival will precede a roundtable featuring prominent international creatives, coordinated by Franco Moretti, President of the ADCE.
Alessandro Cecchi Paone will host the final phase of the day, dedicated to the presentation and awards of the Pubblicità Progresso competitions: “Il Volto Nuovo della Comunicazione Sociale” (The New Face of Social Communication) for universities, the ONP Award for Nonprofits, and Suoni Senza Confini (Sounds Without Boundaries) for bands.
The audience will have a very active role: they will vote via live tele-voting to determine the winner of the ONP Award.
