11th International Conference on Social Communication

The 11th edition of the Conference focuses on the fight against waste, starting from three key words: Sustainability, Sobriety, Solidarity. These three words, full of meaning and values, will be discussed by national and international experts. Each word will be introduced by a reflection from a leader of a major international non-profit organization and explored in a dialogue between a journalist and an Italian figure from the business or cultural world.

Through the analysis of some social campaigns conducted in different countries, the Conference will explore what role communication can play in reducing the waste of food, energy, raw materials, soil, and water. This topic will also be the subject of the fourth eBook in the “Social Communication” series and the upcoming campaign by Pubblicità Progresso.

Additionally, it will be an opportunity to see the creative responses from young people, university and high school students, winners of On The Move 2015, the Pubblicità Progresso contest dedicated to the same theme.
