Articolotr3, Communicating Equality

“All citizens have equal social dignity and are equal before the law, without distinction of sex, race, language, religion, political opinions, personal or social conditions.” (Article 3, Italian Constitution)

Inspired by this article of the Italian Constitution, articolotr3 – comunicare la parità is the first festival of proper advertising, held in Turin from May 5 to May 13. The aim of the festival is to promote the principles of equal opportunities and combat discrimination in communication. During the festival, campaigns for products or services that, in addition to effective creative ideas, avoid offensive language or contexts that undermine people’s dignity and avoid using cultural prejudices or social stereotypes will be awarded.
The festival does not divide campaigns into commercial categories but rather into social categories from an anti-discriminatory perspective (gender, ethnicity, religion, political opinions, personal and social conditions, age, disability, sexual orientation), and categories focusing on protection (health, environment, work, welfare).

A series of open conferences will also take place during the festival, focusing on the themes that inspire the event. These conferences will examine various forms of discrimination and feature representatives and experts in equal opportunities policies as well as in marketing and advertising.

The appointment with Pubblicità Progresso is for May 8th:
