Formazione & Università / Competitions

IoScrittore, now in its fifth edition, is an online literary competition organized by the Mauri Spagnol publishing group. The tournament is dedicated to emerging authors competing for the chance to publish their unpublished novels in both ebook and print editions with one of the group’s imprints.

To participate in the first phase, authors can submit just the opening of their novel by February 28, 2014. The full manuscript can be uploaded later, until April 23, after receiving initial feedback.

The tournament hosts its authors at special events organized as part of major events in the publishing world. On Saturday, May 10, 2014, the 300 semifinalists will be announced at the Salone del Libro in Turin. On Saturday, November 15, 2014, the 10 winners will be revealed during BookCity Milano.

Pubblicità Progresso is a partner for the 2014 edition and, as part of the “Punto su di te” campaign, will present a special award to the novel with the best female character.
