New Developments in the Sponsorship Regulations

The sponsorship that the Foundation can grant to non-profit associations guarantees the quality of messages and promotes the visibility of a social campaign, multiplying its effectiveness and strength. The sponsored campaigns are therefore an expression of a constant commitment to spreading a culture of quality social communication.

On January 25th, the Sponsorship Commission met to revise the regulations governing the granting criteria, introducing a significant new provision regarding sponsorship requests.

Starting from the next meeting scheduled for February 28th, 2014, associations will be able to submit applications for campaigns carried out on a paid basis. The regulation, integrated with the new norm, therefore allows for the submission to the Commission for evaluation of both campaigns carried out by third parties free of charge and campaigns for which creativity has been paid for. The measure was adopted to meet the increasingly frequent requests from associations.

A further novelty concerns local campaigns and initiatives for which it will be possible to request sponsorship limited to communication media operating in the local area.

Finally, it has been confirmed that the Sponsorship is granted exclusively to the communication campaign and not to the Proposing Entity and that applicants must be non-profit Associations.
