Pubblicità Progresso and Exponet Launch New Partnership

Exponet is the international magazine of Expo 2015, created to explore its themes – sustainability, food economy, and taste – in a cross-cutting manner through the lens of culture, contemporary lifestyle, and future trends.

With the aim of raising awareness among users of the relationship between food and lifestyle, Exponet has decided to address these issues from multiple perspectives, involving experts from diverse fields. This is how the idea of a collaboration with the Pubblicità Progresso Foundation was born, which since 1971 has become synonymous with social advertising in the Italian vocabulary.

The collaboration takes the form of an online column that will collect the best social ads from the Pubblicità Progresso media library, commented on by the Foundation’s President, Alberto Contri, who will also offer his own insights on current social issues.

“The Pubblicità Progresso international media library currently houses the 2,600 most interesting social campaigns in the world, divided by themes and topics,” says Alberto Contri. “Selecting, commenting on, and sharing those that relate to the themes of Expo 2015 is the best way to understand how, in different countries, creativity is being used to contribute to solving social problems. But that’s not all. It’s also a way to encourage Italian NGOs and institutions to propose social communication at the level of the best international campaigns.”
