To work in the social sector, are passion, ideals, and good intentions enough? How important are knowledge, skills, and competencies? What training paths lead to professional roles in the Third Sector?
Youth, the future, and social innovation are the central themes of this session of the eighth International Conference on Social Communication. This event is dedicated to nonprofit organizations focused on innovation, students aspiring to become well-prepared professionals, and everyone who believes in change.
Participants will have the opportunity to witness the creativity of others through the best social campaigns created worldwide. They will hear from key figures in the nonprofit sector about their personal journeys and the decisions they’ve made. Young people will share their expectations for working in the Third Sector. The goal is to collaborate in creating a future of value.
According to Alberto Contri, President of Pubblicità Progresso, “In this particular historical moment, where the economic crisis is accompanied by a profound moral crisis, the message we want to convey to young people is that greater solidarity and broader sharing of values are necessary. A stronger, more cohesive, and better-prepared Third Sector could allow us to better address the challenges, including moral ones, that lie ahead and work towards the common good.”
